* Hajj days start from 8th to 13th ZulHijjah
* Air passengers should arrive to Jeddah before 4 ZulHijjah, otherwise they can't enter Saudi Arabia
* Important distances:
Sayel Kabeer - Jeddah = 150 km
Jeddah - Madinah = 420 km
Jeddah - Makkah = 70 km
Makkah - Madinah = 378 km
* Every country or region is managed by a specific bureau in KSA (Mottawef). A Pilgrim (Hajji) from China belongs to South East Asia Mottawef.
* If you follow this procedure to get the visa, you will be responsible for your accommodation (residence, food, transportation). Mottawef will only provide transportation to Makkah and Madina, and internal transportation for different rituals from 8th to 13th ZulHijjah. In addition, he will also provide a conditioned tent in Minah (nights 8,9,11,12,13) and an ordinary tent in Arafat (day 9). Mottawef also can provide food for 600 SR in Minah;however, it's recommended to buy food yourself.
* Start to contact with the travailing bureau or KSA embassy with the end of Ramadan, and keep in touch with that bureau until you applied.Once the registration starts, apply your documents as soon as possible since the deadline is usually inaccurate for various reasons (weekend, holidays, etc.).
* Best ticket offers introduced by Cathay Pacific airlines (There will be transit in Hong Kong and landing in Dubai). If you apply for visa at the very beginning, you would get longer time (a week) for your elementary tickets booking before issuing to complete your visa (takes two days from submission time). On the contrary, you can book tickets before some months for a very cheap price, and in case you failed to get the visa you can cancel the booking for a little fees.
* Once you arrived to Jeddah you have two options, visiting Madinah first, or visting Makkah before. However, i recommend to visit Madinah first for many reasons that will be explained later in detail.
1- If you planned to visit Madinah first, it's better to arrive in ZulHijjah 1st or before, and to book the departure in ZulHijjah 15th or after.
NB.1: This schedule will allow you to stay 2 or 3 nights in Madinah, then you can move to Makkah in ZulHijjah 3rd or 4th (you can't enter Makkah after ZulHijjah 5th).Also this schedule provide additional day after Hajj which you may need just in case.. .
NB.2: I heard that, formally it's not allowed to visit Madinah first after 25th of ZulKeadah. However, this information seems to be false because many of my friends was able to visit Madinah first in ZulHijjah 1st.
2- If you planned to visit Makkah first, it's better to arrive in ZulHijjah 3rd or 4th, and to book the departure in ZulHijjah 17th or 18th.
NB.1: This schedule will help you to save accommodation fees, and due to some difficulties to find an apartment in Makkah. On the contrary , it's very easy to find a good cheap place in Madinah.
NB2. If you don't have no problem with time or money, you can bring forward the arrival date, and delay the departure date to avoid the crowd in arrival's Omrah and departure'sTawaf.
